Barcelona's win over Real Betis left several things worth mentioning. The most important one was that Barca kept within touching distance of leagues leaders Real Madrid and claimed a vital three points.
But they also left nice touch moves which could be compared to Barca's from other eras.
When they were 1-0 down, Barca did not forget about that their touch play and that is how they found the equaliser.
The 1-1 goal by De Jong was top draw. Barca took 42 seconds to complete the move and it was fantastic.
The moved started with Junior in Barca's own half. He combined with De Jong who passed back to Ter Stegen. Umtiti and Lenglet sped up play and the Dutchman ran between the defensive lines with the ball before giving it to Messi.
The rest of it was done by Messi himself and De Jong. Messi scooped the ball to the ex-Ajax man who shot past Joel. A fantastic Barca goal after 33 touches and nine passes and proof that whoever the coach is, Barca can always play the Barca way.
