Barcelona are still very active in the market to build a top quality squad. All eyes are on Leo Messi, but there have been a number of changes around him.
A couple of them were in Munich. 'Mundo Deportivo' reported that from Camp Nou they were keeping an eye on two players from the Bavarian side: Leon Goretzka and Lucas Hernandez.
However, both have finally been ruled out. The one Ronald Koeman liked the most was the Frenchman, because of his versatility in defence, especially at centre-back and full-back.
But Lucas Hernandez has been ruled out because of his high price. Barcelona understand that right now it is totally unfeasible to even think about a possible offer, as Bayern consider him essential.
Regarding Goretzka, the aforementioned source assured that he is wanted by the sporting director and his team but that right now they do not see how to sign him, even more so when his contract expires in 2022.
