Barca players, at 45% of their best physical condition

Barcelona players have done their homework during the home confinement. 'AS' informed that the footballers of the club have reached 40-45% of their ideal physical capacity during the first training.

The estimations of the technical staff were that the footballers would lose 65-70% of their condition before starting to play official matches.

Likewise, the aforementioned source assures that the footballers have increased their weight, on average, between 0.5 and 1.3 kilos, far from the two kilos maximum that the club had set during the almost two months.

The body fat rate has also increased, as is normal after confinement, between 0.3 and 0.7%, when the limit was 1%, all of which was verified at the time of the tests on Wednesday.

In relation to the tests of this same Friday, the first results rule a loss of the aerobic result in a 40%, of the capacity of repeated efforts in a 50%, of the property of the tendon in a 30% and of the force and muscular elasticity in a 45%.

The intention of Barcelona is to recover the maximum possible physical capacity of its players before the beginning of LaLga. The first matches could be played on the weekend of June 20th.

Barcelona's footballers, after passing the COVID-19 tests on Wednesday without any positive results, returned to the pitch on Friday for an hour and a half and on three training camps.
