The Clasico on the 26th of October is doomed to be deferred. It seems both clubs agree on their terms, and according to the Competition Committee, it looks like the Clasico could be deferred and a change of venues could still occur.
The Barcelona team were categorically opposed to a Clasico in the Santiago Bernabeu, with the hosts also agreeing they do not want to host it.
If nothing changes, Barcelona-Real Madrid, scheduled for 26 October, will be played on another date after all the problems that are taking place in Catalonia after the Supreme Court ruling on the Procés.
The league was the first to make clear the doubts regarding the celebration of the match by requesting a change in the order of the matches, but the clubs were opposed. They have not done so in the face of a possible postponement, which is now the most likely option for the match.
It should be remembered that on the 26th there is a planned demonstration in the streets of Barcelona and fears for the safety of fans, while not ruling out a possible boycott.
So, the officials will have to decide and, although Monday seemed to be the date set to know more, everything could be revealed between this Thursday or Friday. In addition, sources claim that the match could be postponed until December 18th.
