Juan Mata will be one of those much talked about player next transfer season if Manchester United cannot convince to stay in Old Trafford.
The midfileder's contract is finishing the upcoming 30th of June, after which he will be able to leave to any club of his choosing. The offers, of course, are pouring in.
As reported by 'SER Cataluña', Barcelona's board of directors met several weeks ago with the father of the Manchester United player to find out what his ideas for the future are.
The Catalonian club already knows what Mata would like to do, but his name is not highlighted and does not enter the list, at the moment, of priority players to be in the squad of Ernesto Valverde.
However, Barcelona is aware that Juan Mata has plenty of conditions to stop at the Camp Nou, so we will have to see how the end of the season and the market develops. What is clear to Mata is that he is not going to sign for either Liverpool or City.
