The Spanish footballer, in an interview for 'AS', recalled his time with at Barcelona while praising Pep Guardiola, the coach who helped him most at the Camp Nou.
"It was a beautiful time because I was there for many years, but also complicated because I was very young. You have to share stage with Golden Boot nominees, with the best in the world ... and being so young is complicated," he began explaining.
"In those moments you need a little confidence and the only one who explained this to me was Pep Guardiola, but it couldn't be and that's how it stays. You can't live from the past, because if you live in the past, you're dead," he added.
As for Pep Guardiola's help, Deulofeu recounted: "He explained to me things about extreme tactics when defending, which was something that cost me the position that I should have in the field.
Finally, he didn't want to discuss his future and was patient about what might come his way: "I imagine a lot of things, but I won't say them. Right now I want to end the season with more goals, helping the team with my work and lifting the title (FA Cup).
