In Barcelona they are reporting that La Liga's medical commission have now given the Catalan side the ok to sign a player to replace Ousmane Dembele, who got badly injured after the transfer window had closed.
The arrival of a new player was subject to the approval of the league. They had to decide whether the injury was serious enough (more than five months absence) to warrant Barca a replacement.
Barca had released a medical report on the Frenchman after his operation in Turku, Finland. After that, Dr Lampainen spoke of an absence of six months.
The Catalan giants sent the documentaton on Thursday and after the maximum 72 hour perios to analyse it, La Liga's medical commission have approved the bringing in of an emergency replacement.
After this news, Barca could sign a player very soon. Despite the fact Angel and Lucas Perez have been strongly linked with the club, the Dane Martin Braithwaite is now the favourite to join them.
The club, in any case, will have to make a decision soon because they have just 15 days to bring in the player they want.
