Barca expecting fans to return in February
The return to football has led to very unusual images such as footballers playing in an empty stadiums.
The clubs are working to get people back into the grounds as soon as possible, but Barcelona are pessimistic on when spectators could be allowed back at the Camp Nou.
Bartomeu told 'RAC1' that the Catalan giants are working on "the worst case scenario." "We are working on trying to play the Champions League match with Napoli at the Camp Nou," the president added.
"It depends on the health situation in Europe. Everything is going well, but we have to wait. On the issue of spectators, the Government decides that."
'AS' says that Barca are aiming to allow fans back from February 2021 which is still seven months away. That would mean more than half of the 2020-21 campaign takes place behind closed doors.
