PSG's Adrien Rabiot has been linked with a move to Barcelona for some time. The Catalan giants are believed to be very interested in signing the midfielder.
According to 'Sport', the next few days could be key if Barcelona are to sign the player. The media claim that negotiations will begin once again between Barca and Rabiot's representatives.
Barca understand that PSG a trying to tie Rabiot down with a new deal, as his current contract is set to end in June 2019. The 'Blaugrana' outfit want to convince him with a better offer.
PSG are economically stronger, so the La Liga side understand they will be unable to offer the player as much as the Qatar-backed French team.
'Sport' have also suggested how much Barca will offer Rabiot: €10 million (net) per season. We will have to see how much PSG offer the Frenchman to convince him to stay in Paris.
At the moment, things stand like so: PSG want to extend Rabiot's deal, but the player has several suitors, including Barca and Inter. If he doesn't renew, in January he will be free to negotiate with other clubs.
