Gareth Bale has said to his agent and family that he is not leaving Real Madrid this summer amid various transfer rumours that Bale will leave the Spanish club to join Manchester United in the summer. Bale has struggled this season in the wake of Cristiano Ronaldo's departure, and Real are understood to be keen to refresh the squad after a poor season.
Bale has a contract at Madrid until 2022, and he intends to see it through. Real president, Florentino Perez, has stood by Bale in the past when others criticized his performances and it is thought he may well be a decisive factor in Bale's potential stay. Bale has won 4 Champions League titles, the Copa del Rey, La Liga, the Spanish Supercup, 3 Euro Supercups and 4 Club World Cups in his 6 years at Real Madrid since joining from Tottenham.
However, he has been a constant target of supporters in Spain, and has allegedly refused to speak Spanish, meaning it is difficult to bond with the Welshman.
