Bale is smiling again. The Tottenham winger has returned to the national team after being injured and is happier than ever, according to what they say from Wales.
"He's a different person at the minute, he looks like he is loving his football again. He's at a club where the manager wants him and he's enjoying his training and the minutes he's getting on the pitch", interim Wales manager Robert Page assured.
All of this in reference to his Real Madrid exit, the club where he didn't play in the last few months, and his Tottenham return, where Mourinho waited for him with open arms.
Page also highlighted the role that the English side are playing with their player, who has come into the Nations League in full form.
"Sensibly, Tottenham are building him up to that full 90 minutes when he can compete at the intensity they want him to. We've managed that as well this week and even in glimpses of him in training, he's something else", the Wales manager added.
Page isn't the only person that has seen this evolution in Bale. His teammate and ex-Real Madrid player Sergio Reguilón also did so. "He's very happy here, much more at home in England", he confirmed.
Meanwhile, Los Blancos are reconsidering the Welshman to remain in the squad, once his loan at Tottenham ends.
