Baines' plan for next season isn't at QPR. The Everton defender is planning on going to another team, according to the Daily Record. His contract ends in June, so any club can secure his services for free.
Baines is a legendary Everton player. He's spent 12 seasons with the English team since his arrival from Wigan Athletic in the 2007-08 season. He's played an astonishing 411 matches, scoring 38 goals in total with the 'toffees'.
This season, the left-footed full-back had a lesser role with Marco Silva's squad, playing just eight games and starting in seven of these. These are not the numbers that Baines has got used to in the recent past, playing 29 times last season.
In what may be his last campaign with Everton, Baines helped Everton to reach eighth place in the Premier League. Everton have not qualified for the Europa League after finishing three points behind Wolverhampton Wanderers. The goal for next season will be to reach at least seventh place in the table and earn a place in Europe.
