Bad news for Chelsea ahead of Madrid clash: Fofana injured

Bad news for Chelsea. Wesley Fofana was injured in the Premier League match against Everton and was not called up to the French national team.

As a result, Didier Deschamps has called up former Barcelona player Todibo to replace him. His injury is a further setback for Graham Potter ahead of the Champions League quarter-final first leg against Real Madrid.

Chelsea will visit the Santiago Bernabeu on 12th April and the Frenchman is a doubt for the game. Furthermore, the Blues will also be without Cesar Azpilicueta and Thiago Silva.

Nevertheless, N'Golo Kante will be available to play against Ancelotti's side. The 31-year-old has not played since August but Potter called him up for the Everton game and is expected to be fit enough to return in April.
