The two sides had contrasting World Cups this summer, with England surpassing all expectations by getting to the semi-finals while Spain crashed out to hosts Russia.
Despite the huge dispapointment of the tournament, the 2010 World champions managed to bounce back with two crucial victories in their opening Nations League matches against Croatia and England last month.
Spain will be able to book their place in the last four of the tournament with a win against Gareth Southgate's side in Seville on Tuesday, and Spanish defender Cesar Azpilicueta is confident of their chances.
"We know what to expect and England have to win if they want to qualify for the final four (of the Nations League) in June." the Chelsea player said.
"It's in our hands to close that group and by winning the three points it will be ours
"We know England are a very strong team, they reached the semi-finals of the World Cup and have young players.
"But we are lucky in Spain to have so many players that will fight for their place in the squad.
"We are pleased because we are coming from a disappointment in the World Cup and we know we have to recover our place."
