Atletico to pay 55 million euros for Morata on 1st July

That was the agreement which Atletico Madrid and Chelsea reached. On 1st July, a payment of 55 million euros will be made by the Spanish club to make Morata's loan deal permanent. 

Atletico are clear that they want to continue counting on the striker. Since he arrived at the Wanda, he has been very good. 

The 'Rojiblancos' got him on loan and had a purchase option. In the end, they decided to buy him. 

This campaign, Morata is playing at the club on loan. The transfer will therefore happen for the 2020-21 season. 

Throughout the summer, both teams agreed that the best thing for Morata was for him to stay at Atletico. In return, Atletico will pay 55 million euros for him. Chelsea should have that money in their account by 1st July.
