Atletico Madrid have not ruled out more movement this summer. 'Cadena SER' reports that Atletico have once again asked Barcelona about Antoine Griezmann.
The French striker had been wanted earlier in the summer and there was talk of a possible swap deal with Saul, but finally it did not happen. Now, on transfer deadline day, the Frenchman is once again in the headlines.
It all comes after Barcelona started to try and get Joao Felix in the final days of the transfer window. The Catalans asked about loaning the Portuguese, but Atletico Madrid said no.
On Monday night, Barcelona included Griezmann in a possible swap deal with Joao Felix, but the team from the capital rejected it.
Despite that, Griezmann's departure has been ruled out. 'Cadena COPE' journalist Helena Condis reports Barca have spoken to the Frenchman in the transfer window to see possible offers.
It seems unlikely that Griezmann will leave Barca this summer, but the fact he has gone up for sale means he is no longer not transferable in Barca's eyes.
It is all due to Barca's wage bill. His departure would free up some of that.
