Atalanta look for full points at Roma to keep close to Napoli up top

In their upcoming trip to the Italian capital, Atalanta will look to continue their strong start to the season with a win against Roma. Gasperini's men are unbeaten in 12 successive games in all competition, with their last defeat dating back to September 24 when newly promoted side Como stunned the Bargamo side at home with a 2-3 win in the league.

'La Dea' are currently second in the standings, sitting four points behind league-leaders Napoli, whom they beat 3-0 earlier this month. While Scamacca has been absent since August due to an ACL injury, new signing Mateo Retegui has successfully filled in for the absence of his Italian compatriot. The former Genoa striker has been on remarkable form this season, scoring 11 goals in 12 matches and reportedly catching the eye of Arsenal in England. Meanwhile, Ademola Lookman also continues to provide for Atalanta and is currently on 9 goals and 7 assists so far.

Stopping this strike force will be a real challenge for Roma, who have struggled so far in the campaign. The 'Giallorossi', languishing in 15th, are looking for stability with new manager Claudio Ranieri after sacking De Rossi and Juric in the same season.
