The youngsters in question are 19-year-old midfielder Callum O'Hare, full-back Mitchell Clark and midfielder Jake Doyle-Hayes, who are both 18.
O'Hare, who has featured in the League for Villa this season, played just behind Scott Hogan and impressed with his energetic display, but he is out of contract this summer.
Clark and Doyle-Hayes made their senior debuts and were two of the best players on the pitch during the 4-1 victory, but also have less than 12 months on their current deals.
Steve Bruce is reportedly aware of the need to get all three signed up on improved terms.
O'Hare is considered a genuine first-team option for Bruce, having progressed well this summer and coming off the bench in the league defeat at Cardiff earlier this season. A number of clubs have been alerted to the youngster's situation, aware of the fact he could be signed from Villa for a compensation of around £300,000 if he does not agree a new deal at the club.
