Emery's side are keen to sign two new strikers to bolster their attack next season. Aston Villa have improved their results since the arrival of Unai Emery at Villa Park.
But the board believe they could reach the European places in the 2023-24 campaign and have more ambitious sporting projects. For this reason, they think they should sign several reinforcements in the next transfer window.
According to 'The Telegraph', Villa are targeting Barcelona striker Ferran Torres and Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic.
The Spain international is not getting playing time with the Catalan side and could be interested in joining the Premier League. Meanwhile, the Serbian has "struggled for consistency" at the Italian side.
The same media outlet reports that both players are on Aston Villa's agenda for next season and could well get the role they are looking for under Emery.
