Aston Villa have the green light to negotiate a contract with Ismaila Sarr. Watford, according to the specialised journalist Fabrizio Romano, accepted an offer of 25 million euros plus three in variables from the Villains. They are thus ahead of Crystal Palace and Milan by putting on the table a figure higher than his market value.
Now, all that remains is for the club to reach a personal agreement with the player. It is not yet closed. The main advantage is that, if he agrees to the operation, he could return to the Premier League, from where he was relegated with the Hornets. He is supposed to have the level to continue in the English top flight.
Having to reach agreements on wages will take time and that time could be perfect for a hypothetical return of Palace and Milan to the bidding. Should Sarr-Villa talks stall, the Eagles and the 'Rossoneri' would be able to enter the race with big offers.
But that is just guesswork. The current situation is that the player has to talk to the Villains to settle his future in ideal conditions for him and, if possible, as soon as possible. It would be ideal if he could train soon with whoever his teammates will be this season.
