Pau Torres has not stood out with his performances this season at Villarreal. Nevertheless, his team will play again in the Europa League and they almost reached the Champions League places.

The board are already starting to worry about the centre-back's situation as his current contract expires in 2024 and he has not yet reached an agreement to renew it.

According to 'Mundo Deportivo', several European clubs such as Aston Villa and Juventus are keeping an eye on him. The defender's buyout clause is 50 million euros.

The Premier League side want to sign him because Unai Emery knows the 26-year-old very well as he had him in his squad when the Spaniard coached Villarreal and they won the Europa League title.

Juventus are also interested in signing Pau Torres for next season. The Italian club have suffered one of their worst seasons after the ten-point deduction and want to change their situation.
