Real Madrid's goalkeeping situation has been a mystery all season, although it seems to be slowly becoming clearer. From next season onwards, it will be the Belgian international Thibaut Courtois who will start in net, which is likely to cause the departure of Keylor Navas from the capital.
According to 'AS', Real Madrid have already had this conversation with the ex-Chelsea keeper to tell him that he will be the goalkeeper they count on next season.
The 26 year-old has featured 33 times for Real Madrid this season, letting in 43 goals in those games - an average of 1.3 conceded per match.
This decision would provoke the departure of Keylor Navas, with the 32 year-old Costa Rican goalkeeper making it clear on more than one occasion that he does not want to play second fiddle for another season, meaning his time as a 'madridista' could be drawing to a close.
The same media outlet also reported that the future of Navas could lie in the Premier League - a move that the goalkeeper is reportedly keen on after five seasons at Real Madrid - a stint in which he has played 161 official games, conceding just 157 goals.
