Arsenal v Leicester - as it happened
Thanks for joining me tonight. See you tomorrow for the Manchester City match.
Arsenal 1-1 Leicester. Arsenal were looking good and would have picked up a huge win, but Nketiah got sent off and Vardy scored a valuable goal.
Praet has a shot which flies over the bar.
Arsenal sub: Aubameyang off for Maitland-Niles.
8 minutes added time.
Mustafi is booked for a foul on Barnes.
And Leceister have done it. The ball is crossed in and Vardy taps it in. VAR is checking it and it's a goal.
Leicester sub: Praet on for Ndidi.
Arsenal sub: Ceballos off for Torreira.
Vardy takes the ball round the keeper and fires into the side netting. Luckily for him, he was offside.
Leicester are going for this now. Nketiah was only on for 1 minute!!!
Gray on for Bennett.
And VAR has changed it to a red. After looking at a relay of the challenge his studs are up and when you do that you are running the risk of a red card.
Nketiah is booked for a foul on Justin.
The signs are there that we are getting back to the Arsenal of old. The Gunners haven't been in the Champions League since 16-17. They will surely think they can catch Leicester.
Arsenal sub: Saka on for Willock.
Arsenal sub: Nketiah on for Lacazette.
The corner comes in, Luiz flicks it on and Lacazette puts it in. The Frenchman was miles offside though.
Barnes has a very weak header which is easily saved by Martínez.
Leicester sub: Fuchs on for Albrighton.
Leicester sub: Barnes on for Iheanacho.
Good chance for Leicester. Vardy crosses for Iheanacho, he volleys but Martínez gets down well and saves.
Ceballos has a deflected effort which goes over the bar.
Luiz has a free-kick from far out which Schmeichel dives and saves. It hit Saka.
I wonder what Leicester have to offer in this half. They are at real risk of not qualifying for the Champions League.
And we're back.
HT: Arsenal 1-0 Leicester. The Gunners have been the better side and it could be more if it wasn't for Schmeichel.
Justin's very weak header goes wide.
And Mustafi is all good. He's back on.
An unfortunate incident from Vardy on Mustafi. When he falls the striker kicks the defender's face. Let's hope he is ok.
2 minutes added time.
Arsenal haven't won 4 Prem games in a row since 2018. They are on track to do so.
The cross comes in but Lacazette's diving header goes straight at Schmeichel.
Arsenal could be more in front. Schmeichel has kept Leicester in it.
He then makes a decent save from Bellerín.
What a save from Schmeichel. Lacazette turns and fires an effort and the Dane gets down and saves with one hand. Great reflexes.
If Arsenal win this then it will be a crucial win in their quest for the Champions League.
And Arsenal take the lead. Saka squares the ball and it's simple for Aubameyang who taps in.
Tierney has a shot from far out that is decent but the keeper saves.
Leicester have started the brightest so far.
The ball is cut back to Iheanacho and Martínez makes a lovely stop with his foot to stop it.
Vardy has a shot from outside the box straight at Martínez.
Still no chances so far in the match.
And we're off.
Leicester have still got to play Arsenal, Bournemouth, Sheffield United, Tottenham, and Manchester United.
Arsenal have won their last four matches. They do have some very tricky games coming up in the league: Leicester, Tottenham, Liverpool, Villa, and Watford.
The rain is pouring down tonight.
Tierney is actually playing against his ex-manager tonight, Brendan Rodgers.
A win takes Arsenal into 6th, just three points behind United and six behind Leicester. Leicester will move back to 3rd if they win.
But Leicester haven't won away to Arsenal since 1973.
Leicester have won three of the last four matches between the two.
Leicester XI: Schmeichel; Bennett, Evans, Soyuncu; Justin, Ndidi, Tielemans, Albrighton; Perez, Vardy, Iheanacho.
Arsenal XI: Martinez; Mustafi, David Luiz, Kolasinac; Bellerin, Ceballos, Xhaka, Tierney; Saka, Lacazette, Aubameyang.
Hello and welcome to the Emirates for this huge match in the race for the Champions League. Team news to come.
