Arsenal have not forgotten about Aaron Ramsdale, the Sheffield United goalkeeper for whom they made an initial bid a month ago. Back then, 'Sky Sports' even talked about 20 million euros.
Well, now it is the 'talkSPORT' journalist Alex Crook who talks about the growing interest of the 'Gunners' in the 23-year-old goalkeeper, for whom they have launched a new offer. Arsenal are reportedly willing to raise their offer to 30 million pounds, which is well above the 20 million pounds that Sheffield Wednesday paid Bournemouth to sign him in 2020.
"I understand Arsenal have made the Sheffield United goalkeeper their number one target. They have also been linked with Sam Johnstone, but it's all in the hands of Aaron Ramsdale now. I'm told they have already rejected two bids for the former Bournemouth keeper and are preparing a third. The fee could be as much as 30 million pounds," he was quoted as saying by the journalist.
