Dominik Szoboszlai has a release clause of 25 million euros in his contract, that lasts until 2022.
Arsenal are still circling the left-winger, but instead of paying the release clause, they want to make Salzburg a different offer.
The Gunners plan to split that 25 million euro figure into three parts. Arteta would be willing to let the youngster in question go, whilst Arsenal would pay some more of that figure upfront and some more in the future.
Szoboszlai's agent said in a recent interview: "He is getting closer and closer to leaving Austria".
