Arsenal's Jorginho defends Harvertz: "It's 'impossible' you don't like Kai"

Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has come out in defence of team-mate Kai Havertz, who is being criticised in the media after he arrived at the Emirates Stadium for £65m last summer from Chelsea.
The German midfielder, who spent 3 seasons with the Blues, is not having his best season and is being criticised for his form. Despite this, his teammates think that he is an important player and that on the pitch he contributes more than just the goals he is not scoring.
"If you know football, it's not possible that you don't like Kai. It's impossible. But when you play beside him, it's just different. You see straight away his qualities and what he can offer you," Jorginho told The Athletic Football Podcast.
"You just look at him and you understand what he wants and what he expects from you, where he expects the ball, the way he puts his body in certain positions. He knows what he wants next. He makes things easier for who is beside him," he added.
The Italy international is an expert penalty taker, and he also spoke to The Athletic about his recent failures with Italy, although in the last Champions League match against Lens he made up for it by scoring the spot-kick.
"Goalkeepers are studying more and more. Taking a penalty is getting harder and harder. The game is changing. At some point I felt that I needed another option," Jorginho said.
