The 'Gunners' are reportedly on the lookout for a new man between the sticks. At 35, Petr Cech is past his best and his understudy David Ospina has so far failed to show that he would be a successful long-term replacement.
Instead, Arsenal want to bring Leno to the Emirates, who could be available from anywhere between £17.5million and £22m according to German newspaper 'Bild'.
The Premier League club will face competition from Atletico and Napoli, though, who are also after the goalkeeper's services.
It's not difficult to see why so many clubs are after Leno. Capped six times for Germany, he has been Leverkusen's No. 1 for seven seasons, playing 230 Bundesliga games in the process and featuring in five Champions League campaigns.
