Arsenal optimistic of landing Real Madrid star Rodrygo in €80m move

Rodrygo Goes said he wanted to stay at Real Madrid, but his future is still up in the air. And although there are no offers for him at the moment, there is interest. This is the case of Arsenal, who still believe they can get the Brazilian winger.
The Gunners are looking for a winger who can play on both flanks after a season that has been difficult in that position due to injuries. Bukayo Saka spent months on the sidelines, Martinelli didn't make the step up and Trossard had to play a lot of minutes as a No 9 (as did Mikel Merino) due to the absence of Havertz, so Mikel Arteta wants to increase the rotation and raise the level.
For the Spaniard, Rodrygo would be the perfect addition to that front line, and although we are talking about a Real Madrid player, the sporting management headed by Andrea Berta is confident of being able to bring him on. His situation at the Spanish side is complicated and he could end up looking at a move away.
The aforementioned media outlet claims that Arsenal could make an offer of between 70 and 80 million euros to convince 'Los Blancos', as Rodrygo has lost the undisputed status he had years ago. Xabi Alonso has barely played him in the World Cup (89 minutes) and he has more competition with the emergence of Arda Guler or the upcoming arrival of Franco Mastantuono.
