Arsenal dominated the game from the start, although they initially lacked the precision to convert their dominance into goals.
They had to wait unti the 33rd minute for the breakthrough, but it was definitely worth the wait! A spectacular team goal saw Saka, Ceballos and Lacazette link up, with the Frenchman slotting home from close range past Ramsdale.
There was just the one goal in it for a large part of the match, and Sheffield started the second-half well. They were unable to show a ruthless streak, however, which is exactly what Arsenal managed in the 71st minute. Punishing a sloppy Sheffield who tried to play out from the back, Arsenal capitalised. Nicolas Pepe's shot was well saved by Ramsdale, but unfortunately for him and his side the rebound fell directly to youngster Gabriel Martinelli, whose impressive performance deserved a goal.
Arsenal's perfect night was completed in the 85th minute. A beautiful turn from Thomas Partey before a pin-point pass from the Ghanaian played in Lacazette, who made no mistake in securing his second of the match.

After a relatively slow start to the match Arsenal upped the tempo, eventually punishing a Sheffield United side who simply lacked the quality to compete.
As such, the 'Blades' remain rooted to the bottom of the table, their relegation all but confirmed. Arsenal regain 9th spot, which they had momentarily lost following Leeds United's fantastic result against Man City.
