Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, according to Emanuele Giulianelli.
The Italian journalist, who was the man who first broke the news that Granit Xhaka was set to become a Gunner, has stated that Arsene Wenger has seen off interest from Chelsea to secure an agreement with the 23-year-old, and will present the Toffees with an offer in the coming weeks.
After Jamie Vardy snubbed a move to the Emirates and committed to Leicester City, the Gunners are desperately searching the market for a striker to help them launch a successful assault on the Premier League next season.
However, Everton aren't looking to let the striker go, and have slapped a £75 million price tag on Lukaku's head, meaning Wenger will have to spend big, something he has so often been reluctant to do.
