Arsenal could be signing two Manchester City players this summer. After the arrivals of Haaland and Julian Alvarez, Gabriel Jesus finds himself being pushed out of the squad. The club most advanced in taking Jesus off City's hands is Arsenal. Now, they want another City player in their ranks. This being, Oleksandr Zinchenko.
'The Daily Mail' reports that the London club will be offering Zinchenko a place in the midfield, rather than in the left back position. This is an intriguing proposition for the Ukranian, who already has a good relationship with Mikel Arteta after the Spaniard's time at City as an assistant coach.
It is difficult to see a future at City for Zinchenko and therefore, a move to Arsenal could prove to be a smart one. The Ukranian arrived at City in 2016 after being bought from Russian side, Ufa. In his first season under The Cityzens' ownership, he was loaned out to PSV.
In the season just gone, the player featured in 28 matches, across which he made five assists. He played a total of 1,814 minutes.
