Racing manager Coudet commented back on 9th April after losing to River Plate: ''I don't want to run into Armani again. I have nothing against him, but coming up against him is a bad experience for me.''
Coudet also has good reason to back up his statements. Racing were defeated 2-0 in the clash between the two in Argentina's President Peron Stadium, where goals from River's Rafael Santos Borre and Exequiel Palacios put paid to Racing's efforts.
But the rivalry didn't start there, the two sides had already faced one another in the Central-Atletico Nacional Rosario de la Libertadores in 2016, where Armani had beautifully denied Racing a goal on three occasions.
Of the times that the clubs have clashed in a fixture, Coudet always seemed to come off worse. Now, Racing will play River Place in the Copa Libertadores quarter-finals.
