An Israeli operative has killed a leader of the armed wing of Islamic Jihad after a bombardment to his house home. This provoked a response from the Gaza Strip with the launching of around 50 missiles.
The army unveiled the response of the Islamist group, which at the same time threatened Israel for crossing "a red line". A state of emergency has been declared in the country and in some localities classes and attendance at jobs have been suspended.
Tensions and the possibility that the attacks will not cease have put at risk the friendly in Tel Aviv between Argentina and Uruguay. It should be remembered that in 2018, a game by Argentina already had to be suspended on Jerusalem soil because of Palestinian protests.
