Liverpool faced a seemingly insurmountable task for their Champions League semi-final second leg as they hosted Barcelona at Anfield with a 3-0 lead to chase.
However much pressure and tension the Liverpool squad were under, that certainly doesn't excuse Andy Robertson's actions towards Barcelona star, Lionel Messi.
The ferocious atmosphere around Anfield was somewhat replicated on the pitch as Andy Robertson marched forward to shove Lionel Messi in the back of the head after the ball went out for a Liverpool corner.
The referee chose to neglect the foul and Liverpool went on to ease the pressure on them by drawing first blood in the tie, through Divock Origi in the seventh minute.
Still a sizeable task for the Reds, but it was a start.
