Andriy Lunin's wife took a hint at Madrid goalkeeper Kepa

On Wednesday night, Real Madrid knocked Atletico out of the Spanish Super Cup in a hard-fought 5-3 win in which Kepa Arrizabalaga made blunder. With less than 15 minutes of normal time remaining and the score at 2-2, he failed to parry a cross from the right flank and the rebound took a deflection off team-mate Antonio Rudiger and into the back of his net.

The move reignited the debate over whether Andriy Lunin should be Carlo Ancelotti's first choice in goal in the absence of Thibaut Courtois, who ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament at the start of the season.

The board relied on his Spanish counterpart on loan from Chelsea to fill his starting role, but a physical setback gave the Ukrainian some space in the starting line-up and he performed remarkably well.

When the Spanish Super Cup kicked off, the Italian coach opted for the former Athletic player for the semi-final against Atletico, he made that blunder and caught the attention of his teammate's wife, who, on her Instagram profile, published a story with her husband with the text "of course, the number 1".
