Ancelotti says Courtois can make the Arsenal game while Lunin is a doubt

Carlo Ancelotti appeared before the media ahead of Real Madrid-Valencia. The Italian coach addressed several issues with the Champions League on the horizon. Looking ahead to the league game at the Bernabeu, he explained the goalkeeping situation.
"There is no concern with the goalkeeping. Courtois can make it to Tuesday and Lunin is going to be tested. We have total confidence in Fran Gonzalez. He is young and we are convinced of his future," he said.
The protagonist was questioned about the "Dani Olmo case": "It's not a question for me. There is freedom of opinion. If nobody wants to talk about it, that's fine. In any case, I don't think the competition is being adulterated," he said.
Carlo Ancelotti also reflected on the state of his team's defence: "We have improved collectively. It's not individual mistakes. Alaba had a good game against Real Sociedad, but he was unlucky. We didn't deserve to concede four goals, and we deserved to score more. We've changed, we've got more punch with Mbappe and we're suffering a bit more at the back. We know that."
His future was also on the table: "I'll never be the one to say I'm leaving Madrid", he said. He also hinted that he might rotate Jude Bellingham against Valencia: "It's an option, but he recovers well."
Finally, Carlo Ancelotti was confident of Real Madrid's chances of winning La Liga: "We have to be optimistic. We can win everything that's left", referring also to the final of the Copa del Rey and their presence in the Champions League.
