Real Madrid have now released Zidane's first squad list of the La Liga season. The Frenchman has six players out, Odegaard and Jovic have recovered, but he has had to call up two youngsters.

Real Madrid will face Real Sociedad on their league debut on Sunday. On the list, Bale nor Sergio Reguilón aren't there, of course, because they are negotiating their exit to Tottenham, which could happen in the next few hours.

Zinedine Zidane will also have six players out. Hazard, Asensio, Mariano, and Lucas Vázquez are injured, while Isco hasn't recovered in time.

Odegaard and Jovic will travel. The former has been fighting with some knee problems, while the Serbian striker has arrived on time after various trainings outside the group.

However, Zidane has surprised by calling up the youth team players Marvin and Arribas.

Here is the Real Madrid squad:

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin, and Altube.

Defenders: Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Odriozola, and Mendy.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modric, Casemiro, Valverde, Odegaard, Marvin, and Arribas.

Forwards: Benzema, Mayoral, Jović, Vinicius Jr., and Rodrygo.
