Wolves on the verge of signing Talisca for £18m
Wolves are closing in on a club record deal to bring in the Brazilian midfielder from Benfica after the move was held up while the Championship club looked for a new manager.
The Brazil U-23 international was said to be on Liverpool's radar over the past year, but it is Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers who look set to sign the 22-year-old.
New investment from Chinese owners has made such a big deal for the Championship club possible, as they try to mount a challenge to get to the Premier League.
Talisca has played 99 times for Benfica and scored 20 goals since moving from Brazilian side Bahia two years ago.
