Real Madrid need to reduce their age ball and their are first team players with large salaries who Zidane is not counting on. The club have to pay 54 million euros a year to Bale, Mariano and James combined.

Clubs will have to keep tightening their belts if fans cannot come into the grounds until January 2021. The economic is gradually starting to pick up again, but it is not enough to keep the players' salaries at the current level.

Real Madrid are looking to reduce their wage bill after having reached an agreement with the squad to reduce their salaries by 10%. That would increase if the crisis continued and negotiations had to continue

'Los Blancos' will sell some players in the summer and several players are close to leaving such as James and Mariano. Bale, who had more than one foot out last summer, is the player with the most uncertain future.

As 'AS' indicates, if Real Madrid manage to sell these three players, they would save 54 million euros a year. Bale's salary is 29 million, an amount which is not directly linked with his quality on the pitch.

James gets 17 million euros, but his departure is more than probable. He could join Atletico Madrid who are preparing 35 million euros for the move.

In last place is Mariano, With just 35 minutes on the pitch so far this season, the striker costs eight million euros. And the main problem when it comes to selling these players is their large salaries which clubs do not want to pay in these teams of crisis.

In the meantime, Real Madrid know that, as well as reducing costs, they will also have to increase their spending to buy new players. Pogba, who will leave United this summer, is still Zidane's dream target and Camavinga is also being strongly linked.
