Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has again praised his team's character after coming from behind to beat Swansea on Saturday.

The Gunners had to come back from losing positions against Everton last weekend, Norwich in the Carabao Cup and now Swansea, something Wenger was keen to point out in his post-match interview.

He told 'Sky Sports': "I'm very happy with the three points. I think overall we had a good domination, maybe in the first half our pace was not quick and sharp enough, but in the second we upped the tempo and created many chances.

"Again we showed mental strength to come back from 1-0 down to win 2-1. Overall it was vital for us to win the game today.

"The best always is to show on the pitch what you can do, and I am convinced we did that at Everton, against Everton, and again today. That can only make the team stronger as well."

Meanwhile, opposite number Paul Clement believes his side were unlucky to not get anything from the game.

He told the same source: "The result? Disappointing. The performance was OK, good in the first half, it went according to plan and we looked very solid defensively. We had a good shape and there was very little space for them.

"I liked a lot of things about the performance today. We've played in games recently where our performances and results haven't been so good, and the results not so good either.

"Today the performance was better and I think we possibly deserved more than we got.

"They've got so much quality in and around the area, playing those little one-touch balls, give and go, and we just couldn't contain them in the second half."
