The Cardiff City boss has admitted that many managers in charge of bottom half Premier League sides fear losing their jobs.

Warnock took charge of Cardiff City in 2016, guiding the club to the top flight in just one year, becoming the first manager to win eight seperate promotions to the Premier League.

However, after a run of no wins in their opening eight games back in the Premier League, and only two wins out of 12 matches in total, Neil Warnock has admitted that alll managers fear for their jobs.

Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic was the first top flight manager to be ousted this week, being replaced by Italian Claudio Ranieri in the hotseat.

Of the recent early sacking of his managerial counterpart, Warnock said: "All of the managers down the bottom end know that could easily be around the corner. We all know that's the industry."

He continued: "[Cardiff owner] Vincent [Tan] tells me every time I see him how many managers and agents are ringing him up telling him to sack me and bring in this manager or that manager, and they're all great managers they want him to appoint. When I do eventually leave, whenever that is, it will be interesting to see how the club moves forward."

Warnock also spoke about the announcement of the new Fulham boss being made simultaneosuly with his predecessor's sacking.

He added: "It does leave a taste in your mouth at times when a manager gets appointed five minutes after you've sacked somebody. You hear about how they've been in talks with the club for a few days and weeks, but that is football I'm afraid. I think that's the one part of football that I detest - but that's how it goes. We all know we're going to get the sack."
