Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic, 45, has been appointed to take charge of Wednesday's UEFA Nations League semi-final between Germany and Portugal.

Vincic will oversee the first semi-final of the Nations League, which will be held at the Allianz Arena in Munich. He will be supported by assistant referees Tomaz Klancnik and Andraz Kovacic, fourth official Matej Jug, and VAR officials Alen Borosak and Rade Obrenovic.

The 45-year-old Slovenian, an international referee since 2010, previously officiated Portugal's 5-2 extra-time win over Denmark in Lisbon that secured their place in the finals.

He also refereed the group-stage encounter between Germany and the Netherlands last October, where the Germans triumphed 1-0 in Munich.

Vincic's past assignments involving Germany include their 2-0 defeat to Austria in a friendly in November 2023, their 1-0 loss to Hungary in the previous Nations League campaign, and their 2-1 victory over Saudi Arabia in a pre-World Cup friendly in 2018.
