The Belgian broke through the ranks in 2010 making six appearances for their second team before 21 more the following year. The 2012/13 season was where he burst onto the first team, scoring eight times and assisting seven in 30 matches. His best return came in 2014/15, precisely before his move to Atletico, where he scored eight goals and provided eleven assists in 52 matches.
Since then, Carrasco has continued to shine in Spain with a brief spell in China inbetween. He played 97 minutes of Atletico's 1-2 opening victory against Celta.
