The Blues got off to a flying start after Ziyech's driving run and long range shot put the hosts ahead after just 16 minutes, before the Moroccan doubled his side's advantage just four minutes into the second half. Lucas Moura's deflected strike seven minutes later pulled one back for Spurs, before Bergwijn's finish between Mendy's legs made it 2-2 with just twenty minutes to go.
There would be no further scorers as both teams made multiple changes late on, it ending all square in South West London. Chelsea's next test comes against Villarreal in the UEFA Super Cup on August 11, while Spurs face Arsenal in a friendly on August 8.
