Barcelona's 2-0 win over Eibar on Saturday equalled the club's longest league unbeaten streak in history.

Goals from Luis Suarez and Jordi Alba sealed victory for Ernesto Valverde's men, who have now gone 31 La Liga games without defeat (W26, D5).

The club are now just one game from making history and will have the perfect setting to do so - a Catalan derby against Girona at the Camp Nou next Saturday.

The previous record was set by Pep Guardiola's Barca side back in 2010/11, with the club winning 27 games and drawing four between gameweeks 3 and 33.

This record however, was set by two different managers, with the run starting last season when Luis Enrique was still in charge at the Camp Nou.

Barca remain seven games short of the La Liga record, set by Real Scoeidad back in 1980.
