Following the end of the respective round of 16 matches, we already know the eight teams that have qualified for the Europa League 2022-23 quarter-finals: Manchester United, Sporting Portugal, Sevilla, Juventus, Feyenoord, Bayer Leverkusen, Roma and Union Saint-Gilloise.

Following some great matches between the teams in the Europa League round of 16, eight teams have already qualified and will fight in the quarter-finals for a place in the semi-finals.

The tickets were won in two respective rounds. Sevilla held their nerve against Fenerbahce and, despite losing 1-0, took advantage of a 2-0 lead from the first leg to book their place in the next round.

Juventus also lived up to expectations and beat Freiburg 2-0 away, with goals from Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa. The 'Vecchia Signora' want the Europa League trophy to get a direct ticket to the Champions League.

Manchester United, with a 4-1 win over Betis at Old Trafford, had no problems at the Benito Villamarin and got a narrow win with a goal from Marcus Rashford.

Feyenoord ripped Shakhtar Donetsk to shreds in a 7-1 crushing victory in the second leg. Bayer Leverkusen also booked their ticket with a 2-0 win over Ferencvaros. Union Saint-Gilloise also advanced to the quarter-finals and pulled off a surprise by eliminating Union Berlin, the Bundesliga's fourth-placed team (3-0).

Meanwhile, Real Sociedad were held to a goalless draw by Roma, who defended their 2-0 first leg lead at the Olimpico, and Sporting Portugal tunned London by seeing off Arsenal in a penalty shoot-out.

Pending the draw to determine the fixtures (to be made on Friday), the quarter-finals of the Europa League will be played on 13th and 20th April, so there are four weeks to go before the players return to the field. The semi-finals are on 11th and 18th May. The big final on 31st May at the Puskas Arena (Budapest).
