Barcelona announced the loan of the French player for two seasons to Benfica, but the Portuguese side are only talking about loaning him for one season. Nor is there any trace of the two million that Barcelona said they would pay or the 20 million purchase option.

Jean-Clair Todibo was one of the few news items on the last day of the market to come from Barcelona. The defender was loaned to Benfica. Barca announced the deal which included a payment of two million euros for the loan and a purchase option of 20 more at the end of the season.

However, following the announcement, there were disagreements with the Lisbon team. According to 'Goal', it was not clear how long the loan would be and it was only clear that Todibo would spend a season with Benfica.

In addition, Benfica, a club that is obliged to detail all its economic movements because it is on the stock market, did not report any payment to Barca for the loan and made no mention of the purchase option.

'Goal' did add that the two million are in the agreement and the purchase option as well and that there was only a mistake when establishing the time of the transfer, which is a single year.
