Crotone's Simy Nwankwo channeled his inner Cristiano Ronaldo on Wednesday night to give Napoli a glimmer of hope in their quest for the Serie A title.

Overhead kicks are usually the sort of goal you see once every blue moon, but for Juventus, lightning has struck twice in a matter of weeks.

Following Cristiano Ronaldo's spectacular effort that helped towards Real Madrid dumping the 'Old Lady' out of the Champions League, a little-known Crotone star matched the feat as he threatened to blow the Serie A title race wide open.

Juve led through an Alex Sandro header, only to be pegged back by Simy's stunning overhead kick.

Wojciech Szczesny in the visiting goal was no match for the strike, which, combined with Napoli 's win over Udinese, helped cut the gap at the top of Serie A to just four points before Napoli and Juventus face off on Sunday.
