The 'Croatian Messi' Europe's top clubs are pining after
Particularly Serie A side Sampdoria are hoping to secure a deal for Croatian youngster Lovro Majer, the 19-year-old playmaker from Lokomotiva Zagreb.
As reported by 'TuttoMarcato', the Italian side, who remained relatively inactive in the transfer window just gone by, are closing in on signing Lovro Majer.
A virtually unknown attacking midfielder, who has been compared to Leo Messi in his native Croatia due to his playing style, would make his way to the Genovese side for around 10 million euros.
He currently stars in the Croatian league for Lokomotiva Zagreb, playing regularly and even finding the back of the net a handful of times.
He has made his full debut with the Croatian national team, but usually plays for the Under-19s.
