Tearful Torres: 'Nothing is impossible if you're with Atleti'
Fernando Torres addressed the crowds at the Atletico Madrid Europa League victory parade, saying an emotional farewell to the fans.
'El Niño' couldn't hold back tears on Friday evening, as he celebrated winning the Europa League in his final season at Atletico.
Torres was given the honour of lifting the trophy on Wednesday, as Atleti beat Marseille 3-0, but the party continued on Friday, with Diego Simeone's side parading their trophy through the streets of Madrid.
The striker had the opportunity to address the crowd, and it got emotional. "When I was 11 I was here celebrating the double, and I dreamed of one day making it here," he said, in tears. "Lots of things have happened in my career, but this is the best."
"To all the kids: nothing is impossible, and if you're with Atletico, even less so."
